Once you have chosen the note buying company, they will ask you questions about the property and the financials on the note.  Based on that information, they will offer you a price for your note.  That price might be for buying all of the remaining payments on the note or buying just a limited number of payments (called a partial).  Either option could have advantages or disadvantages for you.  You would then continue with the process shown below.

The Note Sale Process

Here is the general process involved in selling your note.
  1. Within one business day, we will give you an offer to buy all or some of the remaining payments
  2. If the price is acceptable to you, we will ask you to send copies of many of your documents
  3. Next, we conduct a drive-by appraisal of the property and request a title search, both at our expense.
  4. Once the above is done, we send you documents to take an assignment of the note, you sign them, and the money is wired to you within a day or two after that.  From start to finish, the process takes about 3-5 weeks.
